Our primary aircraft are the Cessna Caravan and the Embraer Bandeirante. The Caravan, known for its reliability and economy of operation, is the ideal aircraft for payloads up to 3,000 lbs. We started flying them in the late 80’s when the folks in brown and purple initiated overnight service. We operate 5 Caravans today. In the early 90’s, our customers started to outgrow the Caravan in certain markets. They wanted an aircraft that would provide up to a 4,000 lbs. payload over 200 miles, over 500 cubic feet of volume and provide high level of reliability and economy. We were unable to find an “off the shelf” aircraft so we selected an existing, proven design and engineered modifications necessary to meet these requirements. The aircraft is an extensively modified Embraer Bandeirante. It provides 1,000 lbs. more payload and approximately 100 more useable cubic feet of volume than the Caravan. And with vastly simplified systems, it performs with comparable economy and reliability. We operate 12 Bandeirante aircraft today.
